It's Thanksgiving Day for the Cowboys yet once again. Year in and year out the tradition continues and of course, some Thanksgivings have ended happier than others. The only consistent performance over the last decade however has left the Cowboys fans with not a whole lot to be thankful for and a pocket full of dreams was running low. Season after season left us out of the playoff hunt usually far too early and when we did make it last year, that also ended in a heartbreak with the Romo fumble. |

At least once before Texas Stadium closes down. The ring of Honor, the seating, the crowd, the field (Which is a whole hell of alot smaller than it looks on T.V.) The first thought I had when I saw the field was of George Teague knocking the tar out of T.O. back when he was a 9er. That was the very first impression. Then I looked up, The ring of Honor,

so we sit here at 5-1 with many fans disappointed we're not 6-0 and defeated the patriots. in retrospect, while beating the pats would have been fantastic, i think many of us knew we're not in that category just yet. we are, however, the only team to be ahead of the patriots in the 2nd half. usually when we hit our stride in the 2nd 1/2 is when we go crazy. we made a push in that direction but in the end, penalties killed us. |
